2026-02-18(수) 하나님이 주시는 회복(요엘 2:21-27)
DIVINE RESTORATION(JOEL 2:21-27)
(욜 2:21) 땅이여 두려워하지 말고 기뻐하며 즐거워할지어다 여호와께서 큰 일을 행하셨음이로다//Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things.
(욜 2:22) 들짐승들아 두려워하지 말지어다 들의 풀이 싹이 나며 나무가 열매를 맺으며 무화과나무와 포도나무가 다 힘을 내는도다//Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
(욜 2:23) 시온의 자녀들아 너희는 너희 하나님 여호와로 말미암아 기뻐하며 즐거워할지어다 그가 너희를 위하여 비를 내리시되 이른 비를 너희에게 적당하게 주시리니 이른 비와 늦은 비가 예전과 같을 것이라//Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first {month}.
(욜 2:24) 마당에는 밀이 가득하고 독에는 새 포도주와 기름이 넘치리로다//And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.
(욜 2:25) 내가 전에 너희에게 보낸 큰 군대 곧 메뚜기와 느치와 황충과 팥중이가 먹은 햇수대로 너희에게 갚아 주리니//And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
(욜 2:26) 너희는 먹되 풍족히 먹고 너희에게 놀라운 일을 행하신 너희 하나님 여호와의 이름을 찬송할 것이라 내 백성이 영원히 수치를 당하지 아니하리로다//And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
(욜 2:27) 그런즉 내가 이스라엘 가운데에 있어 너희 하나님 여호와가 되고 다른 이가 없는 줄을 너희가 알 것이라 내 백성이 영원히 수치를 당하지 아니하리로다//And ye shall know that I {am} in the midst of Israel, and {that} I {am} the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
(요절: 요엘 2:25) 내가 전에… 메뚜기와 느치와 황충과 팥중이가 먹은 햇수대로 너희에게 갚아 주리니//I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten. [JOEL 2:25]
My heart sank. My mind started to swirl. A friend who’d been helping set up my new laptop accidentally deleted all the photos and videos I’d transferred to it. Years of precious memories with family and friends were all gone in an instant. Panic set in. I’d never be able to recreate those cherished moments from past holidays, travels, and special occasions. Before sentimental me could have a complete meltdown, my friend said he was hopeful he could recover my files. Thankfully, a few agonizing hours later I was overjoyed to see my special media files reappear.
가슴이 철렁 내려앉았다. 그리고 머릿속이 혼란해지기 시작했다. 새 노트북 설치를 도와주던 친구가 내가 옮겨 놓은 사진과 동영상을 실수로 모두 삭제해버린 것이다. 여러 해 동안의 친구와 가족의 소중한 추억들이 한 순간에 사라진 것을 알고 나는 공황 상태에 빠졌다. 그 소중했던 지난 날의 휴가와 여행, 특별한 날들의 순간들을 다시는 볼 수 없게 되었다. 이런 생각에 맥이 풀리려는 나에게 친구는 파일을 살릴 수 있을 것 같다고 말했다. 마음을 조리며 몇 시간이 지나 감사하게도 내가 아끼던 미디어 파일들이 다시 복구되는 것을 보고 너무나 기뻤다.
I waited anxiously for only a few hours, but the fear was real. Loss can be scary and painful. In Joel 2, the prophet called the people of Judah to repentance after devastation by a horde of locusts that destroyed the grain fields, vineyards, gardens, and trees. The prophet had warned the people of the impending consequences of their rebellion against God. But God hadn’t abandoned them. He would help and bring restoration if they placed their trust in God: “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten” (2:25).
다만 몇 시간 동안 걱정하며 기다린 것이지만 그 두려움은 정말 생생하다. 상실은 무섭고 고통스러울 수 있다. 요엘 2장에서 선지자는 메뚜기 떼의 재앙으로 곡식과 포도밭, 정원, 나무들이 사라진 후 유다 백성들의 회개를 촉구했다. 선지자는 전에 하나님을 대적하는 그들에게 이에 대한 결과를 곧 보게 될 것이라고 경고했다. 그러나 하나님은 그들을 버리지 않으셨다. 그들이 하나님을 신뢰하면 하나님은 그들을 도와 회복시켜 주실 것이라 했다. “메뚜기와 느치와 황충과 팥중이가 먹은 햇수대로 너희에게 갚아주리니”(2:25).
God restored Judah when they turned to Him. God wants to restore you as well.
하나님께로 돌이켜 오는 유다 백성을 하나님은 회복시키셨다. 하나님은 당신도 회복시키기를 원하신다.
Whatever circumstances you’re in, you can turn to God and trust Him - knowing that He’s “the Lord your God, and that there is no other” (V. 27). He is faithful to help you recover from what was lost and bring you into a relationship with Him. NANCY GAVILANES
어떤 상황에서든 하나님은 “너희 하나님 여호와가 되고 다른 이가 없는 줄을”(27절) 알고 그분을 의지하며 신뢰할 수 있다. 신실하신 하나님은 상실을 경험한 당신을 회복시키시고 하나님과의 관계를 이루어 나갈 수 있도록 도와주신다.
