본문 : 사도행전 26:8-18(Acts 26:8-18)
(행 26:8) 당신들은 하나님이 죽은 사람 다시 살리심을 어찌하여 못 믿을 것으로 여기나이까//Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?
(행 26:9) 나도 나사렛 예수의 이름을 대적하여 범사를 행하여야 될 줄 스스로 생각하고//I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
(행 26:10) 예루살렘에서 이런 일을 행하여 대제사장들에게서 권세를 얻어 가지고 많은 성도를 옥에 가두며 또 죽일 때에 내가 가편 투표를 하였고//Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against {them}.
(행 26:11) 또 모든 회당에서 여러 번 형벌 하여 강제로 모독하는 말을 하게 하고 저희를 대하여 심히 격분하여 외국 성까지도 가서 핍박하였고//And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled {them} to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted {them} even unto strange cities.
(행 26:12) 그 일로 대제사장들의 권세와 위임을 받고 다메섹으로 갔나이다//Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,
(행 26:13) 왕이여 때가 정오나 되어 길에서 보니 하늘로서 해보다 더 밝은 빛이 나와 내 동행들을 둘러 비추는지라//At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.
(행 26:14) 우리가 다 땅에 엎드러지매 내가 소리를 들으니 히브리 방언으로 이르되 사울아 사울아 네가 어찌하여 나를 핍박하느냐 가시채를 뒷발질하기가 네게 고생이니라//And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? {it is} hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
(행 26:15) 내가 대답하되 주여 뉘시니이까 주께서 가라사대 나는 네가 핍박하는 예수라//And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
(행 26:16) 일어나 네 발로 서라 내가 네게 나타난 것은 곧 네가 나를 본 일과 장차 내가 네게 나타날 일에 너로 사환과 증인을 삼으려 함이니//But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
(행 26:17) 이스라엘과 이방인들에게서 내가 너를 구원하여 저희에게 보내어//Delivering thee from the people, and {from} the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
(행 26:18) 그 눈을 뜨게 하여 어두움에서 빛으로 사단의 권세에서 하나님께로 돌아가게 하고 죄 사함과 나를 믿어 거룩케 된 무리 가운데서 기업을 얻게 하리라 하더이다//To open their eyes, {and} to turn {them} from darkness to light, and {from} the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

The lights dimmed on the platform as Tom Whittaker began to sing the words of "Mary, Did You Know?" The steady, quiet strumming of his guitar beautifully complemented his calm, deep voice. His wife, Gloria, says that when she first heard him sing that song, she realized she was in love with him.

Many people who know Jesus as Savior can point to a specific moment when they suddenly grasped the extent of God's amazing love for them. At that instant, they got it. Ray Boltz describes it in song:
The moment it happened,
It was the moment I knew;
It was like walking in the darkness
When the light comes shining through.
예수님을 구주로 아는 많은 사람들이, 그들을 위한 하나님의 놀라운 사랑의 크기를 갑자기 깨닫게 된 특정한 순간을 지적할 수 있다. 그 순간에 그들은 알았다. Ray Boltz는 그것을 다음의 노래로 표현한다:

Paul had such a moment on the Damascus Road. His first encounter with Jesus transformed him from a fierce persecutor of Christians to the first great missionary. Spurred on by this eye-opening experience, Paul's newfound love for the Savior compelled him to share the gospel with everyone he met(Acts 26).
바울은 다마스커스로 가는 도상에서 그러한 순간을 만났다. 그가 예수님을 처음으로 만났을 때, 그는 기독교인들을 맹렬하게 핍박하는 사람에서 최초의 위대한 선교사로 변화했다. 눈이 떠지는 경험에서 자극이 되어, 바울이 새로 발견한 구세주에 대한 사랑이 그가 만나는 모든 사람과 복음을 나누도록 했다(사도행전 26장).
Perhaps you know about Christ but have never trusted Him for salvation. John wrote, "We know that we have passed from death to life"(1 John 3:14). But that statement applies only to those who look to Jesus for forgiveness.
당신은 그리스도에 대해 알고는 있지만 그분이 구원해 주시는 분이라는 것을 믿지 않고 있을 수도 있다. 요한은 이렇게 썼다. "우리가 사망에서 옮겨 생명으로 들어간 줄을 알거니와"(요일 3:14). 그러나 그 문장은 예수님께 용서를 구하는 사람에게만 적용된다.
Because of God's love, you too can "receive forgiveness of sins" through Jesus Christ(Acts 26:18) and be "born again"(John 3:3).
하나님의 사랑 때문에, 예수 그리스도를 통하여 당신도 "죄 사함"을 받을 수 있으며(행 26:18) "거듭날 수 있다(요 3:3).
