2024-05-18(토) 부르시고 준비시켜 주시는 하나님(출애굽기 31:1-11)
CALLED AND EQUIPPED BY GOD(EXODUS 31:1-11)
(출 31:1) 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되//And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
(출 31:2) 내가 유다 지파 훌의 손자요 우리의 아들인 브살렐을 지명하여 부르고//See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:
(출 31:3) 하나님의 영을 그에게 충만하게 하여 지혜와 총명과 지식과 여러 가지 재주로//And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
(출 31:4) 정교한 일을 연구하여 금과 은과 놋으로 만들게 하며//To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
(출 31:5) 보석을 깎아 물리며 여러 가지 기술로 나무를 새겨 만들게 하리라//And in cutting of stones, to set {them}, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.
(출 31:6) 내가 또 단 지파 아히사막의 아들 오홀리압을 세워 그와 함께 하게 하며 지혜로운 마음이 있는 모든 자에게 내가 지혜를 주어 그들이 내가 네게 명령한 것을 다 만들게 할지니//And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;
(출 31:7) 곧 회막과 증거궤와 그 위의 속죄소와 회막의 모든 기구와//The tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that {is} thereupon, and all the furniture of the tabernacle,
(출 31:8) 상과 그 기구와 순금 등잔대와 그 모든 기구와 분향단과//And the table and his furniture, and the pure candlestick with all his furniture, and the altar of incense,
(출 31:9) 번제단과 그 모든 기구와 물두멍과 그 받침과//And the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the laver and his foot,
(출 31:10) 제사직을 행할 때에 입는 정교하게 짠 의복 곧 제사장 아론의 성의와 그의 아들들의 옷과//And the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office,
(출 31:11) 관유와 성소의 향기로운 향이라 무릇 내가 네게 명령한 대로 그들이 만들지니라//And the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the holy {place}: according to all that I have commanded thee shall they do.
(요절: 출애굽기 31:3) 하나님의 영을 그에게 충만하게 하여 지혜와… 여러 가지 재주로//I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom … and with all kinds of skills. [EXODUS 31:3]
“Your job for the international book expo,” my boss informed me, “is to organize an onsite radio broadcast.” I felt fear because this was new territory for me. God, I’ve never done anything like this, I prayed. Please help me.
직장 상사로부터 “당신이 할 일은 국제 도서박람회를 위해 현장 라디오 방송을 편성하는 것입니다.”라는 통보를 받고 나는 이 일이 새로운 영역이라 두려움을 느꼈다. 그래서 이렇게 기도했다. ‘하나님, 저는 이런 일을 한 번도 해본 적이 없습니다. 도와주세요.’
God provided resources and people to guide me: experienced technicians and broadcasters, plus reminders during the expo of details I’d overlooked. In retrospect, I know that the broadcast went well because He knew what was needed and prompted me to use the skills He’d already given me.
하나님은 나를 도와줄 사람들과 여러 자료들을 제공해 주셨다. 경험이 풍부한 기술자들과 방송인들을 포함하여, 박람회 기간 동안 내가 간과했던 세부사항들을 깨닫게 해줄 사람들을 만나게 해주셨다. 돌이켜보니, 방송이 잘 된 이유는 하나님이 무엇이 필요한지를 아시고, 또 나에게 이미 허락하신 능력을 잘 발휘하게 해주셨기 때문이었다.
When God calls us to a task, He also equips us for it. When He assigned Bezalel to work on the tabernacle, Bezalel was already a skilled craftsman. God further equipped him by filling him with His Spirit and with wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and all kinds of skills (EXODUS 31:3). God also gave him an assistant in Oholiab, as well as a skilled workforce (V. 6). With His enablement, the team designed and made the tent, its furnishings, and the priests’ garments. These were instrumental in the Israelites’ proper worship of God (VV. 7-11).
하나님은 우리를 어떤 일로 부르실 때 우리를 또한 준비시켜 주신다. 브살렐에게 성막 일을 맡기셨을 때 그는 이미 숙련된 장인이었다. 하나님은 거기에 더해 그에게 하나님의 영으로 채우시고, 지혜와 총명과 지식과 여러 가지 재주로 준비시켜 주셨다(출애굽기 31:3). 하나님은 또한 오홀리압을 보조자로 세우시고 숙련된 인력을 제공해 주셨다(6절). 하나님의 능력을 힘입어 그들은 성막과 기구와 제사장들의 의복을 디자인하고 만들었다. 이것들은 이스라엘 백성들이 하나님께 제대로 예배하기 위해 꼭 필요한 도구들이었다(7-11절).
Bezalel means “in the shadow [protection] of God.” The craftsman worked on the project of a lifetime under God’s protection, power, and provision. Let’s courageously obey His prompting as we carry out a task to completion. He knows what we need, and how and when to give it. KAREN HUANG
‘브살렐’이라는 이름은 “하나님의 그늘(보호) 아래에”라는 뜻이다. 그 장인은 하나님의 보호하심과 능력, 공급하심 아래 평생의 과제를 수행했다. 우리도 주신 일을 완수하기 위해 하나님이 이끄실 때 용기 있게 순종하도록 하자. 하나님은 우리의 필요를 아시며, 언제 어떻게 주셔야 하는지도 아신다.

Father, thank You for equipping me with all that I need.//하나님 아버지, 저에게 필요한 모든 것을 채워 준비시켜 주시니 감사합니다. 특별히 하나님의 일을 맡기실 때 그것을 감당할 체력과 능력을 함께 주셔서 기쁨으로 감당하게 하시니 감사합니다. 창조복음을 전하는 시간 뿐 아니라 준비하는 과정에도 함께 하시고 그 이후의 열매를 위해서도 하나님이 일하소서.
