2023-12-11(월) 넘치는 하나님의 은혜(룻기 4:9-17)
GOD IS MORE THAN ENOUGH(RUTH 4:9-17)
(룻 4:9) 보아스가 장로들과 모든 백성에게 이르되 내가 엘리멜렉과 기룐과 말론에게 있던 모든 것을 나오미의 손에서 산 일에 너희가 오늘 증인이 되었고//And Boaz said unto the elders, and {unto} all the people, Ye {are} witnesses this day, that I have bought all that {was} Elimelech's, and all that {was} Chilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi.
(룻 4:10) 또 말론의 아내 모압 여인 룻을 사서 나의 아내로 맞이하고 그 죽은 자의 기업을 그의 이름으로 세워 그의 이름이 그의 형제 중과 그 곳 성문에서 끊어지지 아니하게 함에 너희가 오늘 증인이 되었느니라 하니//Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye {are} witnesses this day.
(룻 4:11) 성문에 있는 모든 백성과 장로들이 이르되 우리가 증인이 되나니 여호와께서 네 집에 들어가는 여인으로 이스라엘의 집을 세운 라헬과 레아 두 사람과 같게 하시고 네가 에브랏에서 유력하고 베들레헴에서 유명하게 하시기를 원하며//And all the people that {were} in the gate, and the elders, said, {We are} witnesses. The Lord make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:
(룻 4:12) 여호와께서 이 젊은 여자로 말미암아 네게 상속자를 주사 네 집이 다말이 유다에게 낳아준 베레스의 집과 같게 하시기를 원하노라 하니라//And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the Lord shall give thee of this young woman.
(룻 4:13) 이에 보아스가 룻을 맞이하여 아내로 삼고 그에게 들어갔더니 여호와께서 그에게 임신하게 하시므로 그가 아들을 낳은지라//So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bare a son.
(룻 4:14) 여인들이 나오미에게 이르되 찬송할지로다 여호와께서 오늘 네게 기업 무를 자가 없게 하지 아니하셨도다 이 아이의 이름이 이스라엘 중에 유명하게 되기를 원하노라//And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed {be} the Lord, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.
(룻 4:15) 이는 네 생명의 회복자이며 네 노년의 봉양자라 곧 너를 사랑하며 일곱 아들보다 귀한 네 며느리가 낳은 자로다 하니라//And he shall be unto thee a restorer of {thy} life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.
(룻 4:16) 나오미가 아기를 받아 품에 품고 그의 양육자가 되니//And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it.
(룻 4:17) 그의 이웃 여인들이 그에게 이름을 지어 주되 나오미에게 아들이 태어났다 하여 그의 이름을 오벳이라 하였는데 그는 다윗의 아버지인 이새의 아버지였더라//And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he {is} the father of Jesse, the father of David.
(요절: 룻기 4:17) 그의 이웃 여인들이 그에게 이름을 지어 주되 나오미에게 아들이 태어났다 하여 그의 이름을 오벳이라 하였는데//The women living there said, “Naomi has a son!” And they named him Obed. [ RUTH 4:17 ]
Ellen was on a tight budget, so she was glad to receive a Christmas bonus. That would have been enough, but when she deposited the money, she received another surprise. The teller said that as a Christmas present the bank had deposited her January mortgage payment into her checking account. Now she and Trey could pay other bills and bless someone else with a Christmas surprise!
생활비가 빠듯했던 엘렌은 크리스마스 보너스를 받고 기뻤다. 그런데 그것으로 끝나지 않고 은행에 돈을 입금하러 갔다가 또 한번 깜짝 선물을 받았다. 은행 직원이 크리스마스 선물로 은행에서 1월분 주택융자 상환금을 엘렌의 계좌에 넣어 주었다고 했다. 이제 엘렌과 트레이는 다른 청구서도 지불할 수 있었고, 사람들에게 크리스마스 깜짝 선물도 줄 수 있게 되었다!
God has a way of blessing us beyond what we expect. Naomi was bitter and broken by the death of her husband and sons (RUTH 1:20-21). Her desperate situation was rescued by Boaz, a relative who married her daughter-in-law Ruth and provided a home for her and Naomi (4:10).
우리의 기대 이상으로 축복하시는 것이 하나님의 방법이다. 나오미는 남편과 두 아들의 죽음으로 쓰라린 아픔을 겪었다(룻기 1:20-21). 이럴 때 나오미의 친척 보아스가 며느리 룻과 결혼하고 두 사람에게 집을 마련해줌으로써 나오미는 절망적인 상황에서 구제받을 수 있었다(4:10).
That might have been all Naomi could hope for. But then God blessed Ruth and Boaz with a son. Now Naomi had a grandson to “renew [her] life and sustain [her] in [her] old age” (V. 15). That would have been enough. As the women of Bethlehem put it, “Naomi has a son!” (V. 17). Then little Obed grew-and became “the father of Jesse, the father of David” (V. 17). Naomi’s family belonged to Israel’s royal line, the most important dynasty in history! That would have been enough. David, however, became the ancestor of . . . Jesus.
나오미는 여기서 더 바랄 게 없었을 것이다. 그러나 하나님은 룻과 보아스에게 복 주셔서 그들에게 아들을 주셨다. 이제 나오미에게 “(그녀의) 생기를 되찾아 줄 것이며, 늘그막에 (그녀를) 돌보아 줄” 손자가 생긴 것이다 (15절, 새번역). 그것으로 끝나지 않았다. 베들레헴 여인들이 “나오미에게 아들이 태어났다”(17절)고 말했는데, 그 어린 오벳이 자라서 “다윗의 아버지인 이새의 아버지”(17절)가 되었다. 나오미의 가족은 역사상 가장 중요한 왕조인 이스라엘 왕의 계보에 들게 된 것이다! 그리고 그것으로 끝나지 않고 다윗은 예수님의 조상이 되었다.
If we believe in Christ, we’re in a similar position to Naomi. We had nothing until He redeemed us. Now we’re fully accepted by our Father, who blesses us to bless others. That’s so much more than enough. MIKE WITTMER
그리스도를 믿는 우리도 나오미와 비슷한 경우라 할 수 있다. 주님이 우리를 구원하시기 전에는 우리에게 아무것도 없었다. 그러나 이제는 우리를 온전히 받아주신 하나님 아버지께서 우리에게 복을 주시어 다른 사람들을 다시 축복하게 하신다. 충분히 차고도 넘치는 은혜이다.
When has God blessed you beyond what you imagined? How has He shown you that He’s more than enough?
하나님께서 상상도 못할 만큼 당신에게 복 주신 때가 있습니까? 하나님 한 분이면 충분하고 남는다는 것을 어떻게 보여주셨습니까?
Jesus, You’re more than enough for me.//예수님, 주님은 저에게 충분하고도 남으시는 분입니다. 나에게 아무 것도 남아있지 않을 때에도 내게는 공급자 되시는 주 하나님이 남아 있고 그것이 전부입니다. 오직 주님만이 나의 방법이시고 느이 길이시고 나의 생명이십니다. 모든 것 되시는 주님을 날마다 찬양하며 나아갑니다.
